WebThis program will look at the social determinants of health and some of the ways that culture can affect health beliefs. Also, this program introduces the concept of cultural competence as a process to improve patient interactions. The goal of this training is to expose the learner to these ideas and tools to prevent health disparities. WebIn addition, the curriculum provides information on cultural competency with the goal of making radiology a more welcoming place for all patients and healthcare team members. The curriculum is designed to be presented to trainees over the course of 1 year. The minimum curriculum requirements are necessary to satisfy curriculum completion.
